painted Lady Fingers Giveaway

I gotta say, it was the painting that got me on this one! http://paintedladyfingers.blogspot.com/2010/10/trick-or-polish-halloween-giveaway.html  It is fabulous! And of course, nails being my most recent obsession, I had to share this!

Here is one of her photos of what you get (isn't the painting just spectacular? I get all excited just looking at it!)

I should mention, don't get too hyped up about the skulls in these images. They were just props (I'll admit to being a little disappointed myself, lol).Love the polish colors, the image plates, and love love the painting!

Magic Maid's Giveaway

Wow! http://www.magic-maid.net/2010/09/1000-followers-giveaway-china-glaze.html  Perfect for people breaking into the nails category, and even seasoned ones. There are also some extra goodies that aren't for nails!

Now that's a giveaway! There are products other than China Glaze in there, but I thought it'd be nice to help spread the word to others out there about this giveaway. It's amazing! I have much love for China Glaze and would recommend others to at least try it out. It's great quality, and this giveaway.. there's so much to the package!! To add the cherry on top, it's open to international followers as well.

Congratulations is in order for Magic Maid on 1000 followers!

Intro: Cosmetic/Fashion

This is an introduction to my new blog: A New Beginning!
This blog will be about Cosmetics and Fashion, but mostly cosmetics! This is my entrance into the blogging world, and we'll see how well I do! Hahah, it's the first time I've ever done anything like this, so any constructive criticism is welcomed, but please don't be too harsh. Much appreciated!

So, why "A New Beginning"? It all has to do with my spontaneous entrance into the world of make-up and all alike, and how quickly it became a new beginning in my life. Having been the tom-boy kind of girl previously, it's been a big change and I'm loving it. I really feel that it's the best thing for me, as getting into make-up suddenly became an alternate world, because it feels like a form of art (applying eyeshadows, creating different looks, nail art, for obvious reasons, etc.). It's a form of escape from my hectic life as a full-time student (and job-hunting, which don't even get me started about), and I enjoy it very much.

Some of you out there may see it the same way I do, or in a similar way. Or perhaps you see it completely differently! I'd love to hear what you think. :)
